Hikrodose Kalmthoutse Heide
Are you aware of the power of mushrooms’ role in our life? Without mushrooms, there would be no soil to grow our food, the forest would just be a mountain of dead plant matter, and there would be no medium for plants to absorb nutrients from the earth and communicate with each other.

About The Event
After the success in Lisbon, Chival returns to their roots in Belgium and offers the Hikrodose at the Kalmthoutse Heide. A hikrodose is a nature hike paired with a minidose of psychedelics that enhances our senses and a deeper connection to and love for nature.
For this unique occasion, Chival invited Anthony from Treewise.be, a leading Forest Bathing guide in Belgium, to co-facilitate this special edition. Imagine a fully guided, mushroom-fueled forest bathing experience with fun activities to reconnect with yourself and your environment.
What can you expect?
A meticulously designed experience with optional moments of movement, meditation, and energising breathwork. A carefully balanced day with moments of deep silence (the Kalmthoutse Heide has been listed in the "silent places of Flanders") tuning in to emotions, a dedicated space and time to be yourself and connect meaningfully with other hikrodosers.
What will you come away with?
Our program is designed to connect you with nature in a way you have never experienced. This day will leave you feeling in touch with all your senses, reinvigorated. It's an opportunity to reconnect safely and responsibly with yourself and others. To get mental clarity, deep inner peace, and so much more…
For who?
Anyone who likes the sight, smell, touch of greenery and beautiful scenery, anyone who is ready to “disconnect to reconnect”, anyone curious about experiencing the medicinal power of plants safely and responsibly. Anyone with a curious attitude. Everyone is welcome. 18+
About your facilitators
Anthony
Anthony has always been passionate about two things: how people’s psyche works and the natural world – and of course the intimate relationship between those two.
Holding degrees in Psychology and HRManagement, he spent 10 years coaching employees and managers. Over time, his interest was drawn to the personal dimension of people's psychology and especially to how to really make change happen in that area.
The taste of nature was upon him since he was a kid and growing up he gradually discovered what nature can truly do for us. He believes nature can bring us more health, power and solutions than any other thing in this world. Anthony now added nature-based health practices and especially Forest Bathing to his expertise, using it in his activities as therapist, coach & trainer. He’s always glad to accompany people in their learning process through both evidence-based experiences ánd more meditative and creative methods. And this of course always from a nature-centered and holistic perspective.
Nicolas
Nicolas is a certified Breathwork facilitator, DJ, storyteller, and plant medicine spaceholder. Nature lover and deeply passionate about altered states of consciousness, he is on an ongoing journey learning about himself, various holistic practice & therapies, and psychedelics. For him, altered states are not only tool to heal our deepest wounds and obtain new insights, but also a key to surpass our economic, cultural and environmental challenges.
Founder of Mud Moss Magic and co-founder of Chival, Nicolas has impacted many lives during his weekly breathwork journeys at the Little Yoga Space in the heart of Lisbon. He has organised and hosted many successful events related to breathwork and altered states with Psychonauts Lisboa, which he founded in the spring of 2022.
Myrthe
Myrthe is a certified birth & end of life doula, offering people choice and companionship during life’s greatest transitions. The end of life space is one of her biggest passions, and she firmly believes that embracing this particular space as an entire chapter opens up a whole new experience of life.
She creates a safe space for individuals and groups to explore and experience death & dying, grief & loss. This space is characterised by total transparency, bridge building between the medical world and our human experience, and simple ways to integrate new perspectives.
Working with altered states of consciousness takes an important place in her work as this can be a powerful catalyst for healing, becoming familiar with death & grief and therefore, living life more fully.
